Library in Companion

Updated by Curvo AI

This article covers the Curvo desktop app, Companion.

Library in the sidebar holds your team's sales answers: objection responses, competitive battlecards and product knowledge. You can search them, add and edit topics, and add the documents behind them. The heading at the top of the page says Playbooks, and it's the same page.

Find a topic

The cards at the top filter the list, and each one shows how many topics your workspace has.

Card

What it contains

All Topics

Every topic

Objection Handling

Responses to common buyer concerns

Competitive Battlecards

How to position your product against competitors

Technical Knowledge

Product and technical topics

Below the cards are a search box and these controls:

  • Mentions lists comments that mention you. Click Back to topics to return.

  • Open comments shows topics with unresolved comments.

  • Mentions me shows topics where someone has mentioned you.

Each topic card shows the topic's name, its category, the saved answer and a question it answers. A link such as View 3 variant questions shows other ways a buyer might ask the same thing.

Add a topic

  1. Click Add New Topic. The Create a knowledge topic window opens.

  2. Under Topic type, choose Objection Handling, Competitive Battlecard or Technical product knowledge. Objection Handling is the default.

  3. Under Knowledge topic, enter a short name, such as "Pricing is too expensive". This is required.

  4. Under Example question, write what a buyer might say. This is optional. If you leave it blank, Curvo uses the topic name.

  5. Under Response, enter the answer you want reps to see. This is required.

  6. Click Save Topic. The button may read Enriching topic... while it works, and then Curvo shows a preview.

  7. Click Create more to add another, or Done to finish. The list updates when you close the window.

The app uses different names for the same category. A topic saved as Technical product knowledge appears under the Technical Knowledge card and carries the label Product Knowledge on its own card.

Add sources

Sources are the documents your knowledge base draws on.

  1. Click Add Sources. If you've already added some, this button shows the count instead, such as "3 Sources".

  2. In the Playbook Sources window, choose a tab. Each tab shows how many sources it holds.

  3. Add your sources as described below, then click Done.

Edit, delete or comment

Click the comment icon on a card to read or add comments, and type @ to mention a colleague. Click Resolve when a thread is finished.

Use topics during a call

Available on selected workspaces.

Topics that come up on a call appear as pills in the Live widget. Click a pill to read its saved answer. See The live meeting view.

The Ask Curvo pill in a meeting also draws on your playbook. See Ask Curvo in Companion.
