This article covers the Curvo desktop app, Companion. For the web app, see Ask Curvo.
You can ask Curvo questions from Search in the sidebar, from the bar at the bottom of your meeting and deal lists, and inside a meeting. What Curvo can draw on depends on where you ask.
Where you ask | What it can draw on | Needs |
|---|---|---|
Search in the sidebar | Your meetings, deals and CRM | Ask Curvo on your workspace |
The Ask Curvo anything… bar on Upcoming Meetings, Past Meetings and Deals | The same as Search | Ask Curvo on your workspace |
Chat in a meeting | The meeting brief, your CRM and past calls with this account, plus the transcript so far during a call | Ask Curvo on your workspace, and a meeting open |
Recipes in a meeting | The transcript so far | A meeting open |
The Ask Curvo pill in a meeting | The transcript, your company details and your playbook | A recording in progress |
Search, the bar and Chat can also search the web.
Ask from Search or the bar
Available on selected workspaces. If your workspace doesn't have Ask Curvo, Search and the bar don't appear. Ask your admin or Curvo support whether it can be turned on.
Click Search in the sidebar, or click the Ask Curvo anything… bar.
Type a question and press Enter, or choose a suggestion such as Why do we lose deals? on Search or Summarise my day on the bar.
Read the answer. Numbered citations link to the meetings behind it, and clicking one opens that meeting in the web app.
The bar opens a small panel over the page you're on. Click Open full chat to carry on in Search.
On Search, click New chat to start again, or History to reopen a saved conversation. Recent lists your latest ones.
Ask during a call
Open the live meeting view and use the box at the bottom of the window.
Click in Ask Curvo anything…, or click Chat.
Type a question and press Enter. Curvo answers in Chat.
Click Add to notes to copy a useful answer into your notes.
Chat suggests different questions as the meeting goes on:
Stage | Suggestions |
|---|---|
Before the call | Prep me for this call, What changed since last call?, Draft an agenda |
During the call | What have I missed?, Suggest a question to ask, Summarise the call so far |
After the call | Summarise this call, What were the action items?, What did we agree?, Draft a follow-up email |
Each meeting keeps its own conversations. Click New chat to start another, and Previous chats to go back to an earlier one.
Recipes and the Ask Curvo pill
Clicking in the box also shows recipes such as Next best question and Define this. You can type @ to pick one too. The live meeting view lists them all.
The Ask Curvo pill answers the other person's latest question or objection. It's greyed out until you start recording. If an answer used outside pages, they're listed under Sources or Found on the web.
Curvo runs one of these at a time, and the others wait until its answer arrives.
What answers depend on
Typed questions in Chat need Ask Curvo on your workspace. Without it, the box is still there, but you won't get an answer to a typed question. Recipes don't need it.
Curvo only uses meetings you're allowed to see. See Who can see a meeting.
CRM answers need your company's CRM to be connected in the web app. See Connect your CRM and control what Curvo writes.
Recipes work from the transcript, so they have little to go on early in a call.
The app adds a reminder under its answers: "Curvo AI can make mistakes. Please double-check responses."
