Set up your workspace

As a workspace Owner, you set up Curvo by accepting your invite, creating your account and working through three short steps: Sales Framework, CRM and Calendar. You can skip any step and finish it later in Settings.
Create your account
Open your invitation email and select Set up Account. If another Owner invited you, the button reads Accept invite.
Enter your first and last name. Your email address is already filled in.
Select Create Account. If Curvo hasn't created your company yet, select Continue instead, enter your company details on the Create Company page and select Create Company.
Sign in with your invited email address. See Signing in to Curvo.
Work through the setup steps
Curvo opens the setup steps after your first sign-in. If you stop partway, it returns you to the step you reached the next time you sign in.
Sales Framework
Select MEDDPICC or BANT, then select Continue. Curvo scores your sales meetings against this framework.
CRM
Find your CRM and select Connect, then select Continue once it is connected. The options are Hubspot, Salesforce, Zoho CRM, MS Dynamics and GoHighLevel.
For Salesforce, choose Production, Sandbox or My Domain before you connect.
For MS Dynamics, enter your organisation's address, for example
org1234.crm8.dynamics.com.If your CRM isn't listed, select Request Connection on the Merge.dev card. This route doesn't enable Continue, so select Skip to move on.
Connect only the CRM your team uses. Once one is connected, Curvo disables most of the other options.
Calendar
Select Connect under Google Calendar or Outlook and allow access, then select Continue. This connects your own calendar only. Everyone on your team connects their own.
Curvo then takes you to Meetings.
What happens if you skip a step
Step | If you select Skip | Finish it later |
|---|---|---|
Sales Framework | Curvo uses MEDDPICC, unless your workspace already has a framework | Settings > Company > Sales Framework |
CRM | No CRM is connected | Settings > Company > Integrations |
Calendar | Curvo doesn't import meetings from your calendar | Settings > Calendar Sync |
To open Settings, select your name at the bottom of the left sidebar, then select Settings. Sales Framework also lets you build your own framework.
First settings to check
These are all under Company in Settings. Select Save settings after changing anything on the first two.
In Bot Settings, check Global bot scheduling first. While it is set to Off - manual meeting bots only, Curvo only joins a meeting when someone turns the notetaker on for that meeting. Choose On - Curvo can schedule bots to schedule it automatically, then use Recording policy to choose which meetings qualify, including Record internal meetings. See Set your company's recording policy.
In Company, check Default visibility and Workspace owner access, which decide who can open new meetings, and Output language, which sets the language Curvo writes in. See Who can see a meeting.
In CRM, once your CRM is connected, choose what Curvo writes to it. See Connect your CRM and control what Curvo writes.
In Billing, which appears only on self-serve accounts, check your plan. You need an active subscription before you can invite people.
Invite your team
In Settings, under Company, select Team.
Select Invite member.
Enter the person's Email address and choose a Role.
Select Send invite.
Repeat this for each person. They'll receive an email with a link to join.
People invited as a User skip the setup steps and go straight to Meetings. Ask each of them to connect their calendar under Settings > Calendar Sync.
Anyone you invite as an Owner sees the same three steps, starting from the framework and CRM your workspace already has.
To choose the right role and check your seats, see Roles, seats and who can see what.
